Bridgewood Estates HOA Board Meeting

November 15, 2005

Dianne Matthes’ Home

Attendees:        Blake Goldberg, Kami Bollinger, Gordon Benjamin, Rick Jones, Joe Faulkner, Carolyn Tucker and Dianne Matthes

The meeting was called to order by Blake Goldberg at 7:05 p.m.  The minutes from the September meeting were read and approved.

Carolyn Tucker presented the board with the proposed budget for 2006.  The biggest issue with the new budget is the costs of the on-going repair and maintenance for the street lights in Division I.  They are becoming very expensive to repair because they are aging.  Carolyn will investigate what it would cost for updating them or replacing them.  The budget was accepted as presented.

A motion was made and passed to delegate $150.00 for Holiday Celebrations: $50.00 each for the Easter Egg Hunt, Fourth of July Parade, and the Halloween Parade.  Flyers will be posted by the mail boxes noting the time and place and the functions will be open to all residents in Bridgewood Estates who would like to attend.  These functions will in no way be affiliated with any private parties that may occur before or after the functions.

Old Business:

  • Speed Bumps:  It was decided to leave the speed bumps where they are located now and monitor the situation to see if they have impacted the speeding issue and get more feedback on what to do in the future.

New Business:

  • A Welcome Packet was reviewed; the packet will be delivered to new residents as they move into Bridgewood Estates; the packet will consist of:  a welcome letter (that will include information on the management company and our Web-site); a copy of the Rules and Regulations; information about the entry gates; a copy of the roster listing the homeowners and an Architectural Approval Form.  Dianne Matthes will deliver these packets.
  • Carolyn Tucker will assist Darryl Roundy in getting the Web-site up to date.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
