HOA Board Meeting
September 1st, 2011
Michael White, Margaret Brammall, Monty Laughlin
called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
This was a
special meeting with only two items on the
Effective 1/1/2012, the post
office will no longer use an access code to
enter the development, but will require
installation of a key box at a cost of $350.
Monty will talk to the postmaster about the
requirement. A motion was made, seconded,
and approved to approve the expenditure
contingent on confirmation by the post
office that it is necessary.
The landscaping bids were
compared and discussed. Clark Brothers
failed to give an estimate on maintaining
the retention ponds, so Juanita will be
asked to request that estimate. If it is
less than previous estimate for a more
extensive cleaning, this will be the lowest
bid. It also has other advantages, such as
avoiding the necessity of background checks
on unknown maintenance workers. A motion was
made, seconded, and approved to extend the
contract with Clark Brothers for an
additional year contingent on a bid of under
$1,600 for the retention ponds.
