Bridgewood Estates HOA Board Meeting

Michael White called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

The minutes of the March meeting were reviewed, amended, and approved.

Old Business

Reserve Study and Plan

  • A majority of the Board confirmed a proposed dues increase of $50 per month beginning January 1, 2014, specifically for the reserve fund. This will be voted on by the membership at the annual meeting.

  • Jan Mathes and Mark Angel will be invited to make a presentation on the reserve fund at the annual meeting.

Roofing Material and New ACC Application Form

  • These issues will be tabled and further discussion will take place by email after further discussion by the ACC.

Maintenance Issues

  • Juanita is working on getting bids for cleaning and/or replacing the signs

  • Finding a bid to deliver bark without spreading is proving difficult, and Juanita is still working on this issue.

  • The Stone Professionals bid to replace the faux cap on the 28th Street entrance was accepted.

  • It was moved, seconded, and approved to authorize Monty to spend up to $250 on the mailbox relocation at 21st Ave Ct NW and 25th St Ct NW. This will be a two-day job, and setting the concrete requires the use of water from one of the nearby homes.

  • Juanita will compose an email to the asset manager of the abandoned home informing her that the grass is now a foot long and notifying her that the Board will take action if there is no response within 10 business days.

New Business

Annual Meeting Agenda

  • Juanita will send out an email asking for volunteers to fill the expiring positions. Three positions will expire and only one of the three members is able and willing to serve another term. Michael and Monty will not run for another term, but Monty will continue to offer his services for the retention pond project.

Request from Homeowner

  • A homeowner’s request to keep quiet hours until 9:00 am on weekends will be denied. Juanita will inform him of that decision.

Garage Sale

  • A Garage sale will be scheduled for July 15. We have volunteers to organize it and to notify the newspapers.

Future Meetings

  • The tentative date for the annual meeting is June 13, 2013
